The doorbell rang and by the time I got to the door, he was waving and driving off. He left me this nice package on my doorstep though:
Upon further inspection, I confirmed it was from GratisNetwork's fulfillment center, efulfillment (and not the filter for our refrigerator that my wife ordered from Sears :)
The reason why I was surprised by the DHL guy this time was because my status at GratisNetwork switch to STV (Sent To Vendor in freebieslang) on Wednesday (June 29th). I tried checking the DHL website to see if there was a shipment with my order number as the reference number, but nothing showed up. In fact, a few minutes before the DHL guy got here, I was on the freephotoipods site checking my status and it still said "Sent to Vendor" instead of "Shipped":
After I wrangled it inside and feverishly opened the package, I saw my nice shiny new 60 GB photo iPod. This thing will be the perfect backup for ALL my photos and ALL my music. It's the the perfect backup drive (with coolness factor thrown in as a bonus):
It's official. I now have the freeipod trifecta from GratisNetwork! My first free gift when I was still figuring out if all this stuff was real or fake was freeipods.com (got a 20GB ipod for free), then later down the line I got the ipod shuffle for free for just 3 referrals, and now this freebie really tops it off!
